Kept hazardous materials and waste byproducts stored in environmental compliance and facilities filtration systems were in compliance. Coordinated with security forces to delete diesel fuel heaters and install electric window units at posts, saved 15,000 gallons of fuel annually. Created guidance to install pumps for portable fuel cells for refueling ground equipment saving fuel, man hours and traffic on and around flight line. Ensured fuel hangar, liquid oxygen, gaseous oxygen and battery storage were in environmental compliance. First fuel hangar to not recieve any write ups during inspection. Supervised and led the production of 172 Active Duty and 138 Air National Guard personnel. Directed intermediate and organizational level: Isochronal (ISO) inspection, Aircraft Repair and Reclamation (A/R) and Wheel and Tire elements, fuel, hydraulic and electro-environmental systems maintenance, Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), Nondestructive Inspection, Survival Equipment, Metals Technology, Aircraft Structural Maintenance , Crew Chief and Support Sections. Managed, planned and directed equipment maintenance actions on 407 pieces of AGE valued at $20 million to support maintenance operations of the 116 ACW 17 JSTARS aircraft valued at $6.2 billion. Established repair workloads and production schedules. Responsible for 193K square feet of facilities, vehicles, test and support equipment valued in excess of $42.9 million. Directed maintenance activities, checked methods and techniques employed in inspection, maintenance, repair and modification of all components for compliance with stringent technician standards. Evaluated and implemented system Time Compliance Technical Orders and one time inspections based on mission needs. Established policies and work center maintenance objectives. Ensured safety, security and quality standards throughout daily assessments. Advised wing, group and squadron leadership on maintenance issues. Managed flight training, resources and administration. Utilized flying schedules, quality assurance inspection records and maintenance data analysis to resolve maintenance production trends. Prioritized task support and coordinated manpower assignments and selected personnel for deployments in support of worldwide command and control missions. Was a key liaison with HQ ACC and HQ ANG for acquisition and training. Filled higher Maintenance Operations and Aircraft Maintenance Unit Officer positions on several occasions. Had highest utilization and mission capable rates while deployed for the unit. Lost this job due to down sizing because I had the least amount to lose. I was the best and they rode my coat tails until cut time. Too tired and broke to go legal, just want a job paying equivalant now: 40K to 50K annual.
