Accomplished this by writing press releases, researching local media, contacting reporters, scheduling executive interviews, and visiting media outlets to pitch story. Also prepared and accompanied Chick-fil-A executives (including Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy) on media interviews.
Consulted with Chick-fil-A marketing teams to conceptualize media opportunities and develop brand initiatives. This work led to strategic participation in community events and sponsorships, and the preparation of effective collateral for upcoming campaigns.
Recruited local media coverage for Chick-fil-A scholarship presentations, resulting in more than $20,000 of gratis coverage by local media per scholarship. Created dynamic presentation format and prepared scholarship recipients for interviews with local media.
